Soccer Turf Shoes

What are the best turf soccer shoes?

OK, my club team is requiring that we wear TURF (not indoor) shoes for practice instead of cleats. I have only owned one pair of turfs before and i need to know which are the best ones. Practice starts in about a week so i need to purchase these very soon so help please!

Take your pick, personally though, i think that the white and red Nike 5′s are the best
If they’re not the type of shoes then just say and i will find you other ones.

striker: just choose any light shoots such as adidas adizero or nike mercuials
midfielder: usually wear light shoes also, like above, or from the total 90 range
defender: sturdy shoes, like the nike black n white ones (forgot the name) or adidas normal shoes

Look for some shoes with grip on the bottom. Sliding around is always an issue when playing on turf, so try to choose ones that feel like they have traction. I used a pair of adidas turf shoes for indoor soccer, and they worked really well. I think you’d be safe with whatever brand you choose. Go for the tightest fit possible that still leaves a small amount of room for growth and comfort. Otherwise your foot will be sliding around when your shoe grips on the turf. I hope this helps!

Nike make a few really good ones which come with the stud removers etc. My daughter plays for her school team and about 11/14 of the kids (they have some subs etc) have Nike shoes.
The exact ones to choose will kinda depend on your personal preference, width fitting etc., but we have had several pairs over the years of different styles and they have all lasted really well, I have passed them on to other people as my daughter is still growing and with reasonable care they still look like new even after a full season of matches and training! I think the fact that so many of the team choose these over other brands is a sign of how good they are :)
