hard ground shoes mean that they are used for hard sufaces suck as when there almost any grass and the ground doesnt sink a bit….and the shoes with the holes i think you are talkin about F50′s, which have holes so you can change from hard ground (hard fields) to soft ground (wet grounds) or firm ground (very clean ground)
