I’m not sure if it matters, but all my games this season are on turf fields and i’m not exactly sure which studs to put in. Right now i have the firm ground studs on, which seem to do fine on both the turf and grass field we practice on. But any suggestions or personal experience would be appreciated
I’m looking for a firm ground boot with shorter studs like you might find on turfs. The other possibility is just a pair of turfs that have good traction on grass (particularly grass that has just been sprayed since that is becoming fairly standard everywhere).
Thanks for your response. When I say turf, I mean artificial turf. My team’s home field is turf, and I love how well my turf boots grip in spite of the extremely short stud length. When I travel to other fields, I have to wear my fg boots and the longer studs occasionally mess with my touch (ie when I roll the ball with the bottom of my foot).
Because my High School is getting turf, what are some really good turf cleats (website please) and are there Detachable turf studs for detachable cleats?(If so Website please)
Does turf tear up your studs on outside turf ground? I had been using them on our outside turf practice field and one stud has fallen out and one has gotten loose. Is it the turf or just the durability of my cleats? I have the Nike Legend III by the way…
I will be playing indoor soccer on artificial turf grass.
But I will be practicing in a gym, on the basketball court that has wooden floors. What will give me better grip in the gym on the wood floors?
I think both should work well on the turf, but i need to know what will work in the gym because I currently have Adidas Samba shoes and they are slippery on the wooden floor.
So should I get Turf (little rubber studs) or indoor (flat sole) soccer shoes?
My preference would be the turf shoes with little rubber studs since they probably provide better traction on the turf, as long as they are not slippery in the gym wood floors.
I play lacrosse and am looking to buy new cleats I play defense so i probably need somthing with a mid height rather than low. So my only question is What is the best type of cleat for an artificial turf playing surface? ie: removable studs, rubber studs, molded, ect…
thanks
oh and they cannot be metal and must be legal for highschool NFHS
also it is the outdoor turf grassy synthetic with a shredded rubber base
Pushed by 110 kg /240 lbs the 21 mm studs easily fully sink into the lawn. The scene at the end is comparable to the initial destruction caused by the cleats of a soccer goal keeper.
What Tunit studs should I use on Artificial turf for my new soccer shoes?
I Bought F50+ tunit soccer shoes, what studs should I use for artificial turf because that is the turf i play on.
Nike Air football shoes with NFL legal one inch cleats drive some deep cleat holes into the turf. Please comment on the slow motion segment, do you like it?
alrighty i want to buy some indoor soccer shoes. i used 2 have nike total 90’s but they didn’t hold up that great cause i wore em outside and stuff….so i like playing street soccer(on ashpalt and cement)….would the turf soccer shoes b better 4 ashpalt 4 holding up 2 street abuse? or would they be 2 slippery.
btw turf shoes r NOT CLEATS, they just have these little studs on the bottom….
ye but i play on the street so would they help me on the street?
