Soccer Turf Shoes

Should I get FG (firm ground) or AG (artificial ground) soccer cleats?!?

I’ve picked out the cleats I want to get, so I don’t need suggestions on which ones to get. I’m just trying to decide on whether to get those cleats in FG or AG. I will be playing on turf fields mostly. I know AG is specifically made for that, but I know a lot of people who use FG on turf fields. Which one should I go with?
by turf I don’t mean indoor turf. I’m talking about outdoor turf fields like most football fields are these days.

You should get the FG version of the cleats, because they work just as well on artificial surfaces as the AG versions would. Plus, if the situation arises, they will also work on natural grass, where the AG version would not.

personally i would go with firm ground cleats because you could use them in outdoor and in indoor, especially if you plan on useing them elsewhere which doesnt include indoor…. like at practice or at pick up games

Personally, I use FG cleats on turf fields because I play in another league also which we play on grass. This coming season I will get some AG cleats because my FG cleats were ripped open from playing on those outdoor turf fields.
