Are turf shoes with those rubber dots on the sole, be okay for basketball? They're not cleats.?
I need new basketball shoes but really can’t find anything wide enough for lower than . I found a great price on New Balance turf shoes and they look like they could work for basketball. New Balance is great for sneakers for me because they have wide sizes available.

Not a good choice. Turf shoes will not give you the traction on a gym floor that you want.
