My home football stadium is turf and I practice on it almost every day but Not every stadium in the city is the same surface. So should I buy turf shoes or cleats? What is wearing turf shoes like compared to cleats?
Hi i am 13 and going into winter soccer and i was wondering what kind of shoes to wear. I will be playing on turf but my friend who played in it last year said to wear normal nikes or something. So i dono what to use!!! So should I use normal cleats like i did for summer soccer or indoor cleats for the turf???

I play sweeper, on turf, and last year I had different cleats.
Not even similar in style, but still Nike.
I adored them, but couldn’t find them in any color but gold! I try not to draw attention to my feet, so that the refs don’t notice me as much.

I have a pair of adidas telstar trx turf shoes……they are for turf and hard ground, but will it wear down the bottom peg things if i use them for indoor soccer(carpet-like ground)?

But I will be practicing in a gym, on the basketball court that has wooden floors. What will give me better grip in the gym on the wood floors?
I think both should work well on the turf, but i need to know what will work in the gym because I currently have Adidas Samba shoes and they are slippery on the wooden floor.
So should I get Turf (little rubber studs) or indoor (flat sole) soccer shoes?
My preference would be the turf shoes with little rubber studs since they probably provide better traction on the turf, as long as they are not slippery in the gym wood floors.

I am thinking about getting the adidas adi5 X shoes but they say running turf soccer shoes. I am wondering if they would work alright on pavement, indoors, etc. or should they only be used on turf? I play a lot of soccer, but I have never gotten into turf cleats. Has anyone used turf shoes for regular old tennis shoes? Thanks!

Well im a sprinter and i dont want a spike for practice, i usually use a regular running shoe but then i saw my soccer friend doing soccer workouts on the turf with his mercurial super flys. So i was just wondering if those kind of cleats can take a beating from the track floor. Cause grass/turf is a lot different than track. Im not sure what the cleat is made of, but i think the individual cleats are made of fiberglass?
I mean soccer cleats are meant for speed and agility and stopping power. So im guessing it would work great for sprinting as well, im just not sure if it is okay for track. i checked nike and its 220 i dont wanna wreck 220 dollar shoes. damn thats a lot out of my paycheck. highschoolers dont get paid much these days. damn recession.
Oh and i have wide feet so do you think soccer cleats have a wide form? Cause i always see these skinny ass elongated shoes, fucking size discrimination. And if there is i bet i have to customize it and pay more, If you guys know that would be great. I checked nike and it said not availible right now. But maybe you guys could know.
